Summary: One possible bad outcome of Individuation. Or at least my thoughts on it/on what Asako might think during this. idk let me have my depressing drabbles.

"That's right, that's right. The entire plan was to restore Abel-"
"We DIED because of you!"
"- Did you truly think you were worth anything?"
"It's your fault!"
"You're a fool. A fool that gets attached too easily-"
"It's your fault!"
"-trusts too easily-"
"It's all your fault!"
"-you should be the one who's dead now."
She'd heard the litany the whole week. Half the time was spent just running around in a blind panic, hiding in corners with her hands over her headphones over her ears.
"Those damned things-"
"Take those off and LISTEN to us!"
"-you know, of course, there was no meaning behind them either, right?"
By now, of course, it had gotten tiring. It probably wasn't a good sign that her collar was paling as well, but she couldn't find a reason to give a damn.
She was the Queen of Bel. She should have been able to stop this, somehow. Even a fragment could do that much, right?
"That's right, you're just a fragment."
"You loser! You let us all down!"
"You can never become real to anyone. Even to others from worlds like ours, you're just a replacement, ah?"
....It was so tiring.
.........It was so exhausting, and she'd gotten tired of running a while ago. She'd found a little cave on the crystals-and-pools floor again, crawled in there, stayed there. Moving was too hard.
"It isn't even your body anyway."
"Did you think you could just forget us?!"
........She hadn't forgotten. She hadn't forgotten the people from home, which was why it hurt so much. She hadn't forgotten - but she'd tried to form new bonds - she had two cousins now, that was all it was.
"But you're just a replacement. Stop thinking you're real!"
....That's right. Her logic didn't match up to the rest of the world...
........it was so tiring.
