There's a Knock on the Door! [Open]

[Asako is in her dorm room with the door closed, meditating quietly. It's not something she usually does, but...

She needs to think. She has three days before she has to decide, and none of the paths given seem like quite the right thing. Some of the results even seem too painful to bear. Like a good little oraclederp, she is scrying for details.

...Which means people can and SHOULD bother the hell out of her and disrupt her concentration.

[Who needs knocking when you can go through doors? Akira floats next to her, wondering if he should say anything.]

[Finally, very quietly, he asks:] Are you okay?

WAUGH!

[Thump, thump, crash!

Asako WAS sitting on her bed. She's on the floor now. If this were a proper silly series, her eyes would be spirals.]

Whoops.

[He floats over her.]

Are you okay?

A...yeah...aside from the floor...

[Asa manages to pick herself back up.]

Ooogh... [Okay. Ghost derp. Ghost--- Akira! :D] Oh, hey, Akira. What's up?

Nothing, I was just -

[Lonely.]

W-wondering how you were.

[...Asa gets the feeling that that's not really what the issue is here, but she'll let it slide for now. She sits back down on...idk, a spare cushion or something. She's not terribly organized.]

I've been all right. Nao-nii arrived recently, did you know? ...and may god help us all...

How have you been?

[Heh. God is probably not going to be much of a help.]

I've been okay. Wandering around the Mall... I still don't want to move on, but...

[No. No He isn't. There is no force in existence that can stop the trollin', Asa thinks.]

Move-- oh... [So THAT'S what Akira's down in the dumps about.] I'm...sorry, Akira.

[She's sorry things are like this, that you're dead - but that...yeah, that's pretty obvious.]

It's not your fault. I made a stupid move, and I paid the price for it.

[He floats over to her, 'sitting' next to her.]

[...Her eyes narrow.]

....I wonder...Pardon me, Akira, I'm going to try something.

[She slips STRAIGHT BACK into oracle mode, however stressful it may be. This time, though, she has a very specific question:

Could the power I might gain be able to bring Akira back from the dead?

... ... ...Now searching...]

[He watches her, getting the sense that she's doing oracle-things, but unable to determine exactly what.]

[Mot just chuckles inside his psyche, fully aware of what she's asking. God, etc.]

[...Her eyes reopen. She gazes over at Akira--

you did not choose the same did you?

-- and smiles sadly. Between what happened in Keisuke's world, and what happened to Akira...

And Naoya. And everyone else who has ever suffered under the yoke of this world.

...things must change. Even if everyone hates me for it. Even if I lose Yuzu and Midori and the Keisuke of my world...] ... I think I've made my decision. About how the Lockdown's going to end...I might even be able to save you too, I saw it...Please don't hate me, okay, Akira?

[She's... him. How can he hate her?]

[He hesitates, wondering if he should go through this.

[There is a loud AUGH, and then - thump, thump, crash!

... After a few minutes, Asako opens the door. She looks like she just fell on the floor...which...she kinda DID.] Uh- oh, hey, Atsuro. What's up?

[Ouch, that sounds painful.]

Hey, Asa. Nothing much...are you doing okay?

Yeah, I'm all right. Aside from Nao-nii showing up, though... [TSUN]

How have you been? You all right?

I'm doing alright. I'll be taking it easy and chill out for a while.

[...]

Hey, about that time... [The TV, the mock Game, that Shadow of his...] Sorry about that. [It feels like 'sorry' isn't enough for the trouble, and exposing his fears and worries. And dark thoughts.]

Good idea. The doctors said I should probably do the same.

[...she says, despite having been trying to use her powers again...WHOOPS. At Atsuro's statement, she tilts her head slightly, in a curious fashion.]

It's okay. We've all got our problems, you know? [...She taps her chin thoughtfully.] I was surprised about the thing with Midori, though! I really hope things work out for you two, you've been through a lot and deserve to be happy.

[Unlike me.]

[He blush.]

Well, uh, th-thanks. [Even knowing what his Shadow said about it?] ...What about you? You deserve to be happy as well.

[She looks openly shocked for a moment.] How did you--

[Then, shakes her head.] ... I've got the Lockdown to take care of, you know? I can't worry about things like that.

[Besides, who would ever see a freak as anything other than a freak?]

That Lockdown thing. [He wondered if it'll happen in his world's future, but who knows at this stage.] You'd be busy with it... I wish you good luck during it, and afterward.

Uh- I guess so... [She laughs shakily. That was unexpected.]

Thanks. It's not easy, but - well, it won't be too much longer until it ends. Besides, I made new friends because of it, so it's not all bad.

[AND she got a puppy. :D]

How much longer? But...however it goes, don't forget that you still have your friends.

[At least, Asa's Atsuro, no matter what.]

Three days until I have to make a decision, one day after that before...uh...game over for everyone. Literally.
